It seems I've found myself in another mini (hopefully) reading slump. I read Styxx last week and had no problem getting through the 800+ pages. Since then I've had trouble getting anything to keep my interest.
I just started Daughter of the Sword which has an interesting mix, with the story taking place in both historical Japan as well as modern day. I'm about 100 pages in and hoping that it keeps my interest the rest of the way. It also sounds like a promising start to a new Urban Fantasy series with the second book coming out in Oct.
I've also been in a mini reading slump through the beginning of September.. In July and August I read 12+ books, then September came around and I've finished one so far. I finally found a book to hold my interest and am hoping that the slump is over. :)
