Armchair BEA Day 5 ~ Future of Book Blogging

Design credit to Emily from Emily's Reading Room
Welcome to Day 5 of Armchair BEA! Today everyone is talking about The Future of Book Blogging. To find out more about Armchair BEA go here.

This is going to be another short post for me. I don't have any tips or tricks since I'm still trying to figure it out myself.
The only thing I can advise is, if you're not having fun doing it and it seems like a chore then it may be time for a break.
I've been thinking about a couple of different type of features to do weekly/biweekly but have been nervous to actually go through with them. I'll be working really hard to push myself (and my blog) forward in the coming weeks. Just taking part in Armchair BEA and signing up to do comments daily was big for me.
I've enjoyed finding and learning about a lot of blogs that I probably never would have came across otherwise.
Thanks for visiting and making this Fun! Have a Great and Safe Weekend!

  1. Whatever your ideas are for weekly features - do them! My favorite thing on my blog are my Puzzling Posts - which are puzzles I create about books, tv and movies. They get very little traffic, but I have so much fun making them (and a small number of readers like solving them) that I just keep doing it. Eventually, I hope they'll get more participants, but in the mean time I'm having fun. So take your ideas and give it a shot!

  2. So true, this should be fun, not another item in our to-do lists stressing us out.I think you should go ahead and do the weekly features you have in mind- experiment, have fun with it!

  3. breaks are always a good thing! It might not be work, and might be a lot more fun thatn work, but we all need time away from it occasionally!
Good luck with getting things going!

  4. Don't be too worried about new features. I started one when my blog was 2 months old and it became quite popular. :-)

  6. It's always fun trotting out a new feature or two. Don't be nervous about trying new things - it's what keeps blogging fun! Good luck and thanks for stopping by my blog! =)

  7. I wouldn't worry about your features. Just do what feels comfortable and don't worry about others.
