Follow Friday

Follow Friday is now hosted by TWO hosts, Parajunkee of course and Alison of Alison Can Read. Each host will have their own Feature Blog and this way it'll allow us to show off more new blogs!

Q. Do your reading habits change based on your mood? Do you read a certain genre if you are feeling depressed or happy?

A. I don't know that they change with my mood. I guess maybe. I will sometimes get burnt out and need a change. Sometimes I just need to read an Adult book, when I've read a lot of Ya/MG in a row.

Happy Reading and Hopping!

  1. I totally understand the being burnt out part. As much as I love YA sometimes I just have to switch it up a little. Honest answer!

  5. Hopping through. I get burnt out too, although it's not really based on my mood. More like patience versus no patience.

  6. It's very easy to get burnt out, and I have a few times sometimes to where I can't read anything. Doesn't happen often though.

  10. I know what you mean. I find I read genre's in blocks and then I get annoyed with the genre and change, but then I read that genre in a block so I then get annoyed with that. Taking a break from YA sometimes also happens.

  13. Same here. I love YA but sometimes I just need some grown ups and sex and violence and strong language! LOL I like to mix up sad books with action books and then romance. Thanks for stopping by and I'm an old follower through GFC & Linky!
