Follow Friday

Q. HAVE YOU EVER LOOKED AT BOOK'S COVER AND THOUGHT, THIS IS GOING TO BE HORRIBLE? BUT, WAS INSTEAD PLEASANTLY SURPRISED? SHOW US THE COVER AND TELL US ABOUT THE BOOK.
A. I'm going with a series, whose covers have since gotten better. I did not care for the Dark Hunter covers from the beginning of the series. I like the more current covers with the symbols.

    I really like the cover of Acheron, but I don't know why. I want to read it but the size is so daunting and so is the length of the series -.-

    Good call on the Sherrilyn Kenyon covers. They are not my favorites, either.

    Hopping through. I don't dislike these covers, but they're boring. I want to read Kenyon's books though.

    Ooh, I completely agree. I have this whole series and the covers are totally lame, but the stories are so cleverly interlaced and downright sexy it's hard not to like it. The only annoying thing - tortured man after tortured man. Can't they just be sexy without having a tortured past??     I'm with you. The cover of Archeron is much better. Hmm, not sure why though. Perhaps the other one, with a brooding male character is a bit cliche. New follower. Here's mine: My FF

    Yes, I agree. Hated the covers, but they realy have gotten much better.

    I love the Dark Hunter Series, though my covers are different to both of those. I always wonder why authors change covers for different countries.
